<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which automatically cleans contact portions of terminals and a contact portion of a substrate, prevents the damage of the contact portions of the terminals, and has high contact reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 10 installed on a substrate 50 comprises a housing 20, terminals 30, and wiping plate 40. The housing 20 is provided with a plurality of terminal storage chambers 20T engaged with the substrate 50 and penetrating from an upper surface toward a bottom surface. The terminals 30 are stored in the respective terminal storage chambers 20T while turning contact portions 30S at a tip end thereof downward. The wiping plate 40 is provided with: through-holes 40S movably stored between a lower part of the housing 20 and the substrate 50, and through which the contact portions 30S of the terminals 30 passes; and wiping protrusions on the substrate 50 side. In a state that the wiping plate 40 is temporarily locked, the through-holes 40S are displaced from a part below the terminal storage chambers 20T, and when the wiping plate 40 shifts to a permanent locking state, an upper surface 40J of the wiping plate 40 cleans the contact portions 30S of the terminals 30, and the wiping protrusions on a lower surface of the wiping plate 40 cleans contact portions 50S of the substrate 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
