<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of efficiently detecting gas. <P>SOLUTION: A gas sensor includes: a first laser light source for sweeping and oscillating light of a first wavelength area including at least a part of a wavelength area of 1500 nm to 1600 nm; a second laser light source for oscillating light of a second wavelength area of 1000 nm to 1100 nm; a mixer for mixing light from the first and second laser light sources; a wavelength converting element for producing a third wavelength area of 3200 nm to 3400 nm by the generation of difference frequency from the mixed light; a container in which inspection object gas is sealed, and having an inner space through which the produced light passes; an optical detector for receiving the light passing through the inner space; and a calculator for calculating the predetermined amount of gas in the inspection object gas, on the basis of a signal from the optical detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
