Novelty: It is disclosed a mechanism designed for the movement of awnings via jointed connectors and a canopy-folding system. Constitution: Motion-transmitting and pre-tensioning mechanisms (3 & 4) positioned onto the aluminium profiles (1) and interconnected with a belt giving motion to the guiding mechanism (2). There is the possible a combination of plural parallel-arranged mechanisms rectilinearly fixed on the reducer (6) and the motion-supplying electromotor with the assistance of the retaining accessories (7) (for the bodies of the mechanisms) and the retaining accessory (5) (for the electromotor). These mechanisms are interconnected via jointed connectors encountered on the shaft (12) retaining the drive pulley of the belt (13) for homocentric and uniform rotation. The canopy is folded via the folding mechanism (8) enabling the folding of the canopy pleats at the two ends of the awning; the pleats will always be constantly aligned over the lowest level of the hollow steel sections so that the rainwater can be directly directed to the related drains. |
