An earthquake-resistant partitioning structure formed of a steel foundation, comprising: a ceiling liner; a floor liner; a plurality of light gauges, which are thick C section steel provided upright between the ceiling liner and the floor liner; a plurality of light gauge mounting fixtures for securing the plurality of light gauges to the ceiling and floor via the ceiling liner and the floor liner; a plurality of vibration stoppers that pass through the plurality of light gauges in the horizontal direction; a plurality of vibration holding fixtures for joining the plurality of vibration stoppers to the liners; and a wall material affixed to the side surface of the light gauge. The light gauges have a plurality of through holes into which the plurality of vibration stoppers can be inserted, and which have a fitting groove into which the vibration stoppers are fitted, the through holes being provided at predetermined intervals in the height direction.
