<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate having a new structure with a light polarization function, since one having a structure capable of being more easily manufactured has been sought for. <P>SOLUTION: In the light guide plate, a multi-layered film is directly formed on a light emission surface made of a transparent base material, a light polarizing means is provided on an opposite surface to the emission surface of the light, and a thickness of the transparent base material is larger than that of the multi-layered film as a whole. The light polarizing means is a means of light diffusion, light reflection, light refraction, or combination of them, and the polarization function of the light guide plate is different between the emission surface of the light and the surface opposite to the emission surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
