<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SIMT architecture for performing an indirect function call by using a function pointer. <P>SOLUTION: An indirect branch instruction regards an address register for giving indirection function call capability to a single instruction multiple thread (SIMT) processor architecture as an argument.
