NON-HALOGEN FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION AND INSULATED ELECTRIC WIRE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition which is suitably used as an electric wire capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of poor appearance in pressure welding processing even if the distance between the terminal of a connector and the pressure welding punch of a pressure welding processing machine is smaller than before, that is to say, as an insulated covering material of the electric wire applicable corresponding to the types of various pressure welding connectors and the condition of the pressure welding processing, and to provide an insulated wire using the non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition.

SOLUTION: The resin composition is configured to include (A) 100 pts.mass of a resin composition [which includes: (a1) 35-70 mass% of a polypropylene having a melting peak temperature of 160°C or higher; (a2) 25-60 mass% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having a melting peak temperature of 90°C or lower; and (a3) 5-20 mass% of an ethylenic copolymer denatured with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative] and (B) 120-250 pts.mass of a metal hydrate.
