<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a racket which has favorable shot feeling and is light in weight and durable. <P>SOLUTION: In a racket having a frame having a hollow portion, when its face is compared to a clock with its top in the 12 o'clock position, vibration dampeners are arranged in the hollow portion in the 12, 4 and 8 o'clock positions. It is preferable that no vibration dampener is arranged in the hollow portion in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions in the racket. Also, in the racket, vibration dampeners may be further arranged in the hollow portion in the 2 and 10 o'clock positions.
