<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method that can make a rider stably travel even when a headlight dims after a predetermined time in an idling state and can prevent generation of inrush current in the headlight when the idling state is released in a headlight dimming device for a motorcycle. <P>SOLUTION: In the headlight dimming device 30 for a motorcycle, a headlight lighting circuit includes a daytime lighting switch 33 separately from a main switch 31, and the lighting switch 33 is controlled to be lighted during travel motion or to be dimmed during idling based on a signal from a vehicle idling detection means 41. The headlight dimming device 30 includes a signal delay means 50 between the idling detection means 41 and the lighting switch 33, and delays the signal from the idling detection means 41 to transmit it to the lighting switch 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
