<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure which can secure a collision stroke to exert the proper absorption of a collision load from above even if a space of an engine room cannot be secured such as a light vehicle, in particular. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body front structure includes an engine hood 17 sealing the engine room 13, a grill support 18 extending downward from the front lower face of a hood frame 16, and a front grill 19 provided at the front face of the grill support 18. In the grill support 18, there are included support joints 45a to 45e fixed by being welded to the hood frame 16 and folded backward of the vehicle body, and a hood stopper abutting face 47 on which a hood stopper 26 bearing the engine hood 17 at its both sides abuts. A portion (opposite joint) 44 opposite to the support joints 45a to 45e of the hood frame 16 is positioned behind the front end of the hood frame 16 and a portion (opposite joint) 44 opposite to the support joints 45a to 45e is tilted backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
