<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of improving game properties at the time of announcement by diversifying game modes to be selected by a player for confirming an actual result of winning combination determination when information on acquisition of a prescribed result of winning combination determination is announced to the player. <P>SOLUTION: If one of first to third results of winning combination determination is acquired, an announcement presentation suggesting that there is a possibility of having acquired the first result of winning combination determination is executed. If the first result of winning combination determination is acquired, a first symbol group and a second symbol group are allowed to be stopped and displayed on an effective line. If the second result of winning combination determination is acquired, the first symbol group is not allowed to be stopped/displayed on the effective line but the second symbol group is allowed to be stopped/displayed on the effective line.
