The device is further provided with a motion generator (24) arranged to generate a substantially laminar fluid flow in the guiding channel for conveying particles to the guiding channel. The particles introduced in the guiding channel (16) receive the kinetic energy of the fluid flow, fall in the lower container (17) and are recovered at positions which depend of the mass and the kinetic energy received.
