PURPOSE: A piezoelectric speaker is provided to improve a reproduction capacity in a low band by using a vibration plate having a large electromechanical coupling coefficient. CONSTITUTION: A receiving case(110) comprises a seating surface(111) having a step which is formed on an inner circumferential surface of a punched center area. An edge of a vibration plate(120) is mounted in the seating surface and is stored in the receiving case. A piezoelectric body(140) is laminated on the vibration plate. The piezoelectric body comprises a PZT(piezo-electric transducer) of a ceramic material. The piezoelectric body vibrates a vibration plate according to an AC signal of an AC signal feed part through an upper side silver paste(141) and a lower side silver paste(142) which are formed on an upper side and a lower side thereof. A damper(150) is bonded into a metal piece shape having predetermined size on the upper side of the upper side silver paste. |
