<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autofocus device, an imaging apparatus and a portable electronic apparatus capable of reducing autofocus time. <P>SOLUTION: An autofocus device includes: a lens holder 15 that holds a lens 13 for focusing light from an object; an actuator 18 that shifts the lens 13 via the lens holder 15; a drive section 20 that drives and controls the actuator 18; an imaging element 14 that takes an image of the object through the lens 13; and a controller 21 that controls the drive section 20 when shifting the lens 13 to a predetermined position and calculates the integrated value of imaging signals output from the imaging element 14. The controller 21 is configured to instruct drive section 20 to shift the lens 13 from present position to a target position via the actuator 18 and to transmit a stop signal to the drive section 20 to stop the shift speed of the actuator 18 before the lens 13 reaches the target position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
