The method involves offering usable function for a driver and passengers by a motor car system e.g. navigation system (4). Data about the usage of the function is transmitted to a central computer (12) over a communication device i.e. Global system for mobile communicationsmodule (10), that is arranged in a motor car (2). The data is evaluated on the computer, and a determination is made to find whether assistance function offered by the car system is accepted or rejected by a driver of the car. Actual route and/or traffic information is provided by the computer.
