<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device that increases work efficiency in maintenance of condensed water treatment means for treating condensed water. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell device includes: a heat exchanger 13 that exchanges heat between water and exhaust gas generated by power generation of a fuel cell 1; a condensed water tank 19 where condensed water produced by the heat exchange in the heat exchanger 13 is stored; a condensed water recovery pipe 21 that recovers the condensed water to the condensed water tank 19; condensed water drainage means 22 that drains the condensed water; condensed water treatment means 23 that treats the condensed water; a conductivity sensor 24 that measures purity of the condensed water as treated by the condensed water treatment means 23; and a control device 14 that controls the condensed water drainage means 22 in such a manner that the condensed water drainage means 22 drains the condensed water in a case in which the conductivity sensor 24 shows a conductivity beyond a predetermined setting range.
