<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angiogenesis promoter effective against diseases such as vascular occlusion and the like that cause ischemic tissue necrosis. <P>SOLUTION: The angiogenesis promoter comprises as an effective ingredient an inhibitor for a hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase, for example, a specific inhibitor showing an IC<SB POS="POST">50</SB>for a lipocalin-prostaglandin D synthase of at least 100 μM and an IC<SB POS="POST">50</SB>for a hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase of at most 50μM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
