<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive motor control device including a converter circuit for converting AC power to DC power, an inverter circuit for converting DC power to AC power for driving a motor or converting AC power regenerated from the motor to DC power, and an energy storage section for storing or outputting DC power. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control device 1 includes: a converter circuit 11 for converting AC power to DC power; an inverter circuit 12 connected to a DC side of the converter circuit 11 to convert DC power to AC power for driving a motor 2 or convert AC power regenerated from the motor 2 to DC power; an energy storage section 13 connected to a DC side of the converter circuit 11 and inverter circuit 12 to store or output DC power; and a control section 14 for controlling the amount of DC power to be stored or output by the energy storage section 13 on the basis of a motor operation command to operate the motor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
