<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hood capable of improving head collision performance, by surely preventing jumping-up of the hood when a vehicle collides, by securing dent resistance and moldability of an inner panel part in the vicinity of a striker, without increasing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: An inner panel 2 has a recessed part 2h, is fixed to an outer panel 1 in its front end part by hem processing, and is joined by mastic to the outer panel 1 in a rear part. A hole 2a is formed in a bottom part of the recessed part 2h, and a part of projecting a lock reinforcing material 3 to its lower part is fitted to the hole 2a, and a flange of the lock reinforcing material 3 is fixed by joining the flange to a hole peripheral edge part of the inner panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
