摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power transmission efficiency when a transmission distance varies and when a power usage of a power reception device varies. <P>SOLUTION: A power transmission system includes a power supply device and a power reception device. The power supply device includes: a first resonant element having an inductance and a capacitance, at least either of which is variable; a high frequency oscillator for outputting a high frequency signal to the first resonant element; and a first control section for, when magnetically resonating the first resonant element with a second resonant element of the power reception device, detecting a frequency of the high frequency signal and a resonance frequency of the first resonant element which increase an active current through the first resonant element, and controlling the high frequency oscillator to change the frequency of the high frequency signal to the detected frequency and controlling the first resonant element to change the resonance frequency of the first resonant element to the detected resonance frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
