<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses a change in density even when the number of printed pages is increased regardless of kinds of recording materials. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a printer control part 21 for forming a latent image by irradiating a photoreceptor 22 with laser light; a developing part 24 for developing the latent image formed on the photoreceptor 22 with toner; a printer part 2 for forming a toner image developed on the photoreceptor 22 on a recording material; and a control part 220 for changing a development contrast potential which is a difference between a potential on a surface of the photoreceptor 22 irradiated with the laser light by the printer control part 21 and a development bias potential in the developing part 24, in accordance with information related to a particle diameter of the toner in the developing part 24 and information related to a kind of the recording material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
