<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core which generates no large distortion at connection parts between a peripheral iron core and tooth part cores even when split core structure, composed of the peripheral iron core and the tooth part cores made separately one by one, is used, and to provide a motor having the same. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor of a split core system which is split into each tooth, a peripheral iron core is formed with a non-directional electromagnetic steel plate and tooth part cores are configured with a directional electromagnetic steel plate. The peripheral iron core and the tooth part cores have different shapes at a central part and an end part, respectively, having a dovetail-shaped tenon only at the end part.
