A rubber composition which contains a rubber component that has an olefinic double bond and isobutylene polymers each having a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a structural unit represented by formula (2). Among the above-described isobutylene polymers, the content of low-molecular-weight isobutylene polymers having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less is 5% by mass or less based on the total mass of the isobutylene polymers. (In the formulae, X represents a divalent group; Y represents a substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic group having an unsaturated bond; and n represents 0 or 1.)
