<p>Provided is a slider for a slide fastener wherein the attachment strength of a cover member is improved, preventing said cover member from becoming detached. Mating grooves (90) into which fixed parts (80) of said cover member (50) fit are respectively formed on upper wings (21) of a body (20) from the front of a column part (31) to the left and right sides thereof, and flanges (80A) that fit into said mating grooves (90) are respectively formed on the left and right sides of the aforementioned fixed part (80). With said flanges (80A) fitted into the mating grooves (90), the cover member (50) is affixed to the aforementioned upper wings (21) by means of the following: first swage parts (101) where the sides of the fixed part (80) of the cover member (50) are swaged towards the abovementioned column part (31); second swage parts (102) where the upper wings (21) are swaged towards the flanges (80A); and third swage parts (103) where the upper wings (21) are swaged so as to close the entrances to the mating groove (90).</p> |
