The pump (5) has a coolant outlet provided radially to a vane wheel, where a cross-section of the coolant outlet is variable and/or isolatable over a locking element e.g. locking ring. A hydraulically-operated actuator is engaged at the locking element. A control pump (7) is integrated into the pump, and provides pressurized hydraulic fluid for displacement of the locking element. The control pump is designed as a rotary piston pump. A displacer e.g. gear wheel, of the rotary piston pump is connected with a drive shaft. The rotary piston pump is designed as an external gear pump, internal gear pump, inner ring pump and a rotary vane pump.
