<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroelectric power generator which can improve power generation efficiency by effectively pressing blades of a water wheel even in a river with a small head. <P>SOLUTION: Because a first flow channel 48 is inclined with respect to a vertical direction, a large water wheel 22 can be rotated with a small head. Further, when viewed from a side face, an upper oblique side 100A of a sidewall 100 overlaps the base 72B of a blade 72 that approaches closest to a bottom plate 102. By this means, water flowing through the first flow channel 48 does not flow at a rotational axis 70 side of the base 72B of the blade 72. Therefore, power generation efficiency can be improved by effectively pressing the blade 72 of the large water wheel 22 even in a river with a small head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
