MANAGEMENT DEVICE, MANAGEMENT METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that management of device setting information gets complicated and cumbersome when users and usage purposes are different depending on each plug-in software in a device management software whose function can be extended by adding a plug-in software.

SOLUTION: A management device in which a first management software for managing multiple devices on a network is run by a control part includes first holding means for holding authentication information for accessing each of the devices by using functions of the first management software, second holding means for holding authentication information for accessing each device by using functions of a second management software added to the first management software for adding new functions; registration means for registering devices to be managed by the second management software; and second setting means for setting authentication information for accessing the devices by using the functions of the second management software.
