The thread cutter (10) has a circular body (11) with a central opening (12). Five segments with inner threads (13-17) are radial arranged on the outer surface and have curved areas (18-22) positioned between them. Between the differently shaped segments, each part of the thread is tapered at both ends, avoiding the cutting off of shavings from the material.
