<p>The present invention relates to the field of video processing. Disclosed are a method for storing and playing additional information in a video code stream and a device thereof. In the present invention, additional information is inserted in a video code stream as a special type of frame. A frame header of such a frame is obtained by modifying the type and length of a frame header of an existing video frame in the video code stream, the additional information that changes with time can be recorded in a monitored video code stream, and the compatibility with existing video players can be achieved at a low price. The additional information frame is written behind an I frame corresponding to the additional information, which further facilitates search, retrieval and decoding. During the playback of recorded video data, the track playback on an electronic map can be performed very conveniently during audio and video playing, and at the same time, the real-time changing situations of the steering wheel, speedometer, and three-axis acceleration can be displayed.</p> |
