<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element having a high light-emission efficiency, in a configuration using an Ag thin film as an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An organic light-emitting element has a first electrode 11, an organic compound layer 12, and a second electrode 15 on a substrate 10, and emits light from the second electrode 15 side. The second electrode 15 has a first layer 13, and a second layer 14 contacting with the first layer 13, disposed in this order from the substrate 10. The second layer 14 is a layer containing Ag.
