METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISEASE AND/OR INSECT PEST OF NUTRICULTURE PLANT BY LIGHT AND MICROORGANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling technique which exhibits a high controlling effect while reducing a load to the environment in the nutriculture plants, and is effective for the wide objects to be controlled (such as plant diseases and insect pests).

SOLUTION: A plant is irradiated only with a beam in a wavelength region of 400 to 750 nm or a beam in which the light illuminance of the same wavelength region is made higher than the light illuminance of the other wavelength region, and also, the plant is cultured with a nutrient solution admixed with nonpathogenic microorganisms having a disease controlling effect and/or insect pest controlling effect for plants, thus various plant diseases and/or insect pests or the like are effectively controlled.
