SECONDARY ELECTROCHEMICAL GENERATORS OF ZINC-ANODE ALKALINE TYPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide secondary electrochemical generators of a zinc-anode alkaline type whose anode has a great capacity for charge-discharge cycling.

SOLUTION: The electrochemical generators according to the invention comprise zinc anodes made in such a manner as to increase within an active material the number of sites for formation of zinc during recharging, by a better draining of electrical charges, obtained by using a dispersed secondary collector in a form of a conductive powder in the active material, which may advantageously be combined with a principal medium-collector of a highly porous three-dimensional structured type having a large developed surface.
