<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing data which reduces the total amount of data, for example text, incorporated into a main application, improves the speed of data incorporation, reduces an amount of memory used to store data, and improves a speed at which data can be retrieved. <P>SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of receiving, at a data processing tool, at least partially unstructured data from at least one data source, and processing the at least partially unstructured data to generate at least partially structured data that includes tagged data, in which the step of processing the at least partially unstructured data includes at least one of processing the at least partially unstructured data using an associative memory application, and processing the at least partially unstructured data using a regular expression processing program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
