<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system for performing inexpensive efficient cooling with less energy in a working area of a large space where heat generating sources with high heat generation and workers are scattered. <P>SOLUTION: A space with a relatively large height from a floor surface to a ceiling surface, where heat generating sources are scattered on the floor, is vertically divided by a virtual horizontal plane assumed a little above a head of a worker to define the lower space as an air conditioning zone and the upper space as non-air conditioning zone. The air conditioning system includes an outdoor arrangement, PAC (package) type air conditioner, exhaust fan, suction port, exhaust duct, exhaust hood placed above the heat generating source, first and second blowout chambers facing downward and disposed on the virtual horizontal plane, and first and second air feed ducts. First and second sock ducts are connected in a vertical direction to lower ends of the respective blow chambers. An air volume is adjusted to blow out an air stream at low speed that allows displacement air conditioning from the side face and the lower end of each sock duct. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
