<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that can correct the gap of the conveyance amount caused at conveyance, and to provide a recording method, a storage medium and a recording system. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device has: a cumulative conveyance distance obtaining means that measures the cumulative conveyance distance that accumulates the conveyance distance of the end part of the sheet in the roll paper in both cases of conveyance from the upstream side to the downstream side and from the downstream side to the upstream side by a conveying means; a conveyance error calculating means that calculates the conveyance error by detecting a theoretical position of the end part of the sheet and the actual position of the end part of the conveyed sheet; a calculating means of the conveyance error per unit of the conveyance amount from the conveyance error and the cumulative conveyance distance; and a forecasted conveyance gap amount calculation means that calculates the forecasted conveyance gap amount forecasted to be generated at that time from the conveyance error per unit of the conveyance amount and the conveyance distance of the sheet at that time.
