BALANCE PROTECTION DEVICE FOR BATTERY MODULES IN PARALLEL CONNECTION

A balance protection device for battery modules in parallel connection, comprising a current limiting resistor located on an electrically connected conducting wire and used for conducting and balancing the voltages of the battery modules; an indicating assembly bridged over the current limiting resistor and used for indicating voltage difference; a switch assembly connected in parallel with the two ends of the current limiting resistor and used for controlling the parallel conduction of the battery modules when the voltages of the battery modules are balanced; and a fuse located on the electrically connected conducting wire and used for protecting against instantaneous over current generated between the battery modules. The present invention efficiently achieves the balance protection of the battery modules in parallel connection via a simple assembly, and solves the safety problem caused when two battery modules with different voltages are connected in parallel.
