FUNCTIONAL PARTICLE AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional particle which does not cause the bleed-out of functional substances to the surface of the particle from the inside of fine holes by uniformly and stably sealing the functional substances into the fine holes of a porous particle since the functional particle can be produced by a simple method, and to provide its production method.

SOLUTION: The functional particle has: the porous particle having a large number of the fine holes which penetrate the porous particle from its surface; the functional substances which are filled into the fine holes of the porous particle and exhibit functionality in the fine holes; and capturing substances which are filled into the fine holes of the porous particle and stably capture the functional substances. The capturing substances have reaction groups which have main chains having affinity with the functional substances and terminal ends having affinity with the porous particle, and in which the terminal ends are connected to one another.
