摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mechanical wear in a water turbine and extend a maintenance period in a variable speed pumped storage power generation system using primary frequency control method, by reducing speed change of the water turbine occurring in change of an effective power command value. <P>SOLUTION: An operation control device for a variable speed generator motor in which a generator motor and a pump water turbine are mechanically combined and a stator winding of the generator motor is connected to a power system through a frequency converter comprises: an effective power control device controlling the frequency converter by an effective power control signal for making effective power of the generator motor be its target value; and a rotational speed control device which obtains a pump water turbine output correction signal from the target value of the effective power and an effective drop of the pump water turbine, and takes a sum signal of a speed control signal for making a rotational speed of the pump water turbine be its target value and the pump water turbine output correction signal, for a control signal for the pump water turbine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
