<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-derived sphingoglycolipid-containing composition which is quite useful, instead of steroid drug, as a preparation for external use, a cosmetic or their raw materials based on an idea that, regarding atopic dermatitis to which prevention and treatment are difficult among allergic diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains plant-derived sphingoglycolipid. The plant-derived sphingolycolipid is derived from rice.
