<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a value of resistance at a transfer part even in a mode in which a superposition bias is applied as a transfer bias. <P>SOLUTION: Control means is capable of switching to a first mode (Fig. a) in which a power supply 200 outputs a DC voltage and to a second mode (Fig. b) in which the power supply outputs a superposed voltage in which an AC voltage is superposed on a DC voltage. When a toner image on an image carrier 51 is transferred to a recording medium in a transfer position, it selects either the first mode or the second mode, and when detection means detects an electric resistance of a transfer part, it selects the first mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
