<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable of holding a magnet in a through-hole while suppressing damage. <P>SOLUTION: In a magnet 34, a recess 41, having a concave shape in a magnetization direction (radial direction) of the magnet 34, extending in an axial direction orthogonal to the magnetization direction, and having an opening at an end face in the axial direction of the magnet 34, is formed.
