The module (6) has two LED chains supplied with a supply energy in form of a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal by a controller. A toggle switch, a generator and a switch control and/or regulate the supply energy of the individual LED chains. The toggle switch and the switch divide the supply energy on the individual LED chains during predeterminable periods. The generator controls the toggle switch and the switch at a defined switching cycle, where frequency of the switching cycle corresponds to 25 times of frequency of the PWM signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling and/or regulating supply energy of two LED chains of a light module.
