<p>PURPOSE: A remote metering system for a water meter is provided to measure the total usage of water remotely and the pressure change of a water pipe using a pressure meter inserted in the water pipe. CONSTITUTION: A remote metering system for a water meter comprises: a water meter(110), a signal detector(120), a pressure metering and transforming unit(130), and a data collecting, analyzing and sending unit(140). The pressure metering and transforming unit is inserted in a water pipe, and detects pressure data inside of the water pipe. The signal detector is combined with the water meter integrally, and detects the amount of flowing water by using an electrosensitive flow sensor. The data collecting, analyzing and sending unit is connected to a management server through a network, analyzes data of the amount of flowing water printed from the signal detector, processes the result of the analyzed data, and sends the processed analyzed data to the management server.
