A method for controlling an air conditioner of a hybrid car is provided to actuate an engine if outdoor temperature is larger than a predetermined temperature to actuate the air conditioner, blow winds if outdoor temperature is within a predetermined range, and stop controlling the air conditioner under a predetermined temperature when the car stops. A method for controlling an air conditioner of a hybrid car includes the steps of: when an engine of the car stops, measuring outdoor temperature(a first step); if the measured temperature is larger than a first temperature, starting the engine, and turning on the air conditioner(a second step); if the measured temperature is within the first temperature and a second temperature, blowing wind with stopping the engine, turning on the engine and the air conditioner after some time(a third step); if the measured temperature is within the second temperature and a third temperature, blowing winds less than the third step with turning off the air conditioner(a fourth step); if the measured temperature is less than the third temperature, turning off the air conditioner and a blower(a fifth step). |
