A physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmitting and blind detection method and apparatus relate to the technical field of communications. The blind detection method comprises: a UE adopting a first format in two downlink control information (DCI) formats to perform blind detection on a PDCCH; and the UE adopting a second format in the two DCI formats to perform blind detection on an enhanced PDCCH (ePDCCH). By using the above technical solution, the blind detection of the UE is simplified, and the power consumption of the UE is reduced.
