<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 1000-series aluminum alloy sheet having high strength applicable to a large-sized lithium-ion battery case as well as excellent formability and laser weldability. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet includes 0.01-0.4 mass% Si, 0.01-0.5 mass% Fe, 0.003-0.5 mass% Co and the balance being Al and inevitable impurities, and has a metallographic structure in which the number of the second-phase particles with a circle equivalent diameter of 3 μm or more is less than 100 pieces/mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>.
