<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect metal foreign matter existing between power transmission side and reception side and improve detection accuracy even in no use of a secondary battery when no electric power is supplied from the transmission side to the reception side. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a resonance circuit including a secondary coil; a detection section that measures a Q value of the resonance circuit; a storage section that is charged with electric power corresponding to the amount consumed during the Q value measurement by the detection section, using electric power received by the secondary coil from a primary coil; and a control section that operates the detection section using the electric power stored in the storage section during stopping of power transmission from the primary coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
