PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner improved in cooling efficiency of a heat radiation plate of an outdoor unit.

SOLUTION: A container h for receiving water is disposed under an outdoor unit, and the water is sprayed to the heat radiation plate c of the outdoor unit so as to raise cooling efficiency during the air conditioner is operated. The cooling effect can be raised by a vaporization heat dissipation action of water which is generated during operation of the air conditioner and is guided to the heat radiation plate c of the outdoor unit. The efficiency can be significantly raised without improving an existing air conditioner.
