摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the occurrence of rotor run-out in an electric disk brake device. <P>SOLUTION: An inner side brake pad and an outer side brake pad are arranged facing friction sliding faces of vehicle inner and outer sides of a disc rotor rotated together with a wheel. An electric motor 30 presses the inner side brake pad and the outer side brake pad to the respective friction sliding faces of the disc rotor through a drive mechanism. A first pressing force detecting part 62a detects a pressing force to the friction sliding face of the inner side brake pad. A second pressing force detecting part 62b detects a pressing force to the friction sliding face of the outer side brake pad. A motor control unit 68 controls the pressing force of the inner side brake pad and the outer side brake pad exerted by the electric motor 30 on the basis of detected signals from the first pressing force detecting part 62a and the second pressing force detecting part 62b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
