<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably correct a skew without particularly adding a regulation means, such as a regulating plate, when a trailing end of a booklet is pushed to correct the skew of the booklet. <P>SOLUTION: A skew correction device for aligning the booklet BT that is a folded bundle of sheets on a conveying path 300 includes: a positioning stopper 317 against which a leading end BT2 of the booklet BT abuts in a conveying direction; a jogger 319 for pushing the trailing end BT1 of the booklet BT in the conveying direction so that the leading end BT2 of the booklet BT abuts against the positioning stopper 317; and a deflection generating means for deflecting the booklet BT downward when the trailing end BT1 is pushed. The deflection generating means is configured with a pushing surface 319a provided on a surface abutting against the booklet BT of the jogger 319 and formed of a concave shape with respect to the trailing end BT1 of the booklet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
